The BOCHK Hong Kong Prize

The Hongkong Prize is one of Asia’s premier awards, drawing thousands of applicants every year. It recognizes scientific research with significant societal benefit while encouraging young people to follow their passions while expanding their world views. Furthermore, this prize encourages cooperation among scientists from various countries and regions while upholding high standards of moral integrity.

Researchers who want to apply for the Hongkong Prize must submit an article that fulfills certain criteria. Clinical studies (both prospective and retrospective), observational or epidemiological studies, basic science articles or meta-analyses may all qualify; however, submissions must focus on empirical data collection and analysis and cannot include reviews or letters to editors as their content.

Individuals looking to enter the Hongkong Prize should read through and understand all rules and regulations carefully prior to submitting an application, to avoid becoming victims of scamming and increase their odds of winning the prize. Furthermore, it would be beneficial to select an established online gambling platform with promotional offerings that increase chances of success.

In addition to honoring scientific research accomplishments, the BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize furthers the mission of “Boosting Hong Kong and Serving the Country”, by drawing top science talent from around the globe and nurturing forward-looking scientists – as well as making Hong Kong an international innovation and technology hub. Individuals or teams who demonstrate exceptional accomplishment in fields like artificial intelligence and robotics research; life science research; new materials energy production and FinTech are eligible to submit entries.

Justice Centre was established in 2007 with a mission of helping forced migrants achieve protection, justice and a dignified life through legal advocacy, psychosocial support, community initiatives and creating a network of local partners. On 12 November 2023 the Hong Kong Alliance for Technology and Innovation presented their award at Hong Kong Science Museum.

The BOCHK Hong Kong Prize is an independent merit-based award that honors scientific research that brings significant societal benefit, encouraging young people to pursue their passions, broaden their global perspectives, and achieve success. It is overseen by an independent expert panel representing academic and business sectors of Hong Kong society.

Winner of the BOCHK Hong Kong Prize receives a cash prize, an engraved gold medal and plaque; runners-up receive a trophy and certificate. Entries will then be displayed for three months at Hong Kong Science and Technology Museum before touring Mainland China and overseas with the goal of highlighting Hong Kong’s unique role in science education and attracting world-class scientists to Hong Kong and beyond. All exhibitions are free to the public and can be found on BOCHK website for further details.
